Default Between a rock and a hard place.

Just blew my turbo and I'm trying to decide what turbo to go with. This will be for an occasional towing, daily driver application. I don't really have any HP goals at this point I just need a SOLID reliable rig with my current set up. Money is tight as usual so all I can afford is a turbo and down pipe if necessary. The options I am considering are:

63/65/14
63/68/14
62/65/14 (with stock hp sticks)

This was determined by recommendations made by board members.

Disclosure: I am new to the diesel world so please pardon my ignorance on the topic.

I don't mean to add more choices but I have the Thunder 330 from II and LOVE it. It's a 62/74/14 I too daily drive and tow a 20ft gooseneck with a off road truck (82 f150 1 tons full cage on 38s). Its not too slow to spool and will handle your mods. The install is pretty easy, all you need is the Hx40 downpipe and its a direct fit. Not too much info out there on these but all I could find when I bought mine were good.

do you know about where you are spooled up ? Im trying to be at 1800rpm's or less just came across a 64/71/14 that is rated at about 1800-2000 which i am going to add to my list of options.

slight tweaks to my options ...

62/65/14 (with Stock Hp Sticks)
63/65/14 (with 100hp sticks)
63/68/14 (with 100hp sticks)
64/71/14 (with 150hp sticks)

Mine will start to spool about 1600rpm, and when it does it really goes. I run my smarty on sw9 all the time and have never seen over 1200-1300 on the egt gauge. I also emailed industrial injection and was told it flows 1050 CFM of air, incase you need that info too.

Stock injectors, buy plan on going with the 60hp dragonfly industrials when they give out. Industrial also told me that turbo would work better with larger injectors because of the large exhaust wheel would spool faster.

I have added it to my consideration list with a set of 100hp injectors maybe.
