My '03 2500 has some slippage in the automatic transmission. It sometimes has a hard time shifting from first to second unless I ease off the accelerator, then it shifts. My dealership mechanic looked at it yesterday and tried to adjust the band, but no matter how much he tightened it nothing happened. Now he's going to break it down to see what the problem is. Has this happened to any of you guys and if so, what was the solution? I'm holding my breath that it's not a new transmission!!! Thanks. Pam
