Setting up gears is a art of patience and correct tools.

I cant help you as all that I am versed in are drop out thirds (Toyota)

I will say though that you are better off to pay someone to do the job unless you have the time, tools, location, and knowledge to do this job.

If you really want to do this job yourself then search and find a website that will help teach you how. I learned how to set up Toyota thirds back in the day by reading Zook's site Toyota Gear Installs Although they are not the same type of axle read some of these gear install threads and you will have a idea on what you need to learn and look for in your search.

I once melted/shredded spider gears in my '93 F150 Lightning and opted to go for the whole new assembly, it was actually not much more expensive than gears and clutches from Ford. Swapping that out was not difficult at all.
