Any of you guys have trouble with your alternator? Mine charges intermittently, when you touch the plug on the back it starts to charge immediately. I think the contacts in the plug aren't making good contact. Anyone know of a quick fix for this? I tried slightly bending the prongs inside to make better contact once before, but its started doing it again.

 

Try cleaning the connections with electric parts clean and using dielectric grease. I never had a problem, but that is your next step. You could build up the prongs with solder, but that is a lot of work if the clean and grease will solve the problem.
