I ran the amsoil in my 99 when it was done with no issues I am not sure about the lucas haven't always had great luck with them but have not ran that in the 5spd the amsoil is a 75-90. you can contact heath on getting it shipped to your door

Don't run anything but the syncro mesh. You can use Pennzoil or another brand but if you like your transmission get the Lucas out of it.

If you use any other oil in your trans, you can hurt the syncro's. The regular oil has component that will eat at your carbon pads on the brass syncro's. The syntorque doesn't have these components. Amsoil has a real oil you can use. Amsoil is what I used in mine when I rebuilt mine. The guy that bought the truck from me started running lucas in it, he didn't run it to long before it started being hard to shift and not going into gear properly. so I'd say play it safe and just use what is recommended.
