you want injectors first, better flowing injectors will hold better when the chip adds more fuel to the truck.. heres how i would go, new fuel pump(FASS or AIRDOG) injectors and then chip.

I don't think he needs 300hp+ injectors. 100-150 would work great.

haha well I personally wouldnt use anything smaller than 200's or so. I dont see much gain in them. Im not sure why companies even offer anything below 100 or why people buy them, waste of money in my opinion. You can make alot of power with a cr using small nozzles but, look how many people are running the bigger 300 plus ones. for a 24v id go big injectors so I can keep the fuelling box turned down a bit and not tax my vp so much. higher tunes equals more pump duty cycle wich creates more heat in the pump module.

millerboyz... i am looking at getting new injectors for my 24v...i never thought about keeping the duty cycle down by using bigger hp sticks. it seems to make sense. but i also know that i couldnt keep the chip down. for long.

millerboyzdiesel, you sound like a dumb ***.

OP i would deffinately go with injectors first. what you use your truck for will determine what size injectors i would suggest. i had 150s in my 99 before i dropped a valve. hauling 10k the egts would top out around 1450 on a hard pull. if you pull alot, i would go with 100 hp injectors.

Im with Big Ed on this. I personally am running 6x0.018s in my 2001 and they are roughly 250-300 hp injectors and they are hard on stock vp pumps and you need something like a hot rod vp or a dragon fire to run those injectors. The most fun I had with my truck was when I had my SPS 62 from IIS, 125 hp injectors, and a edge juice with a good lift pump. And the truck still got great mileage pulled like a son of a gun and ran like a dream. I put the big injectors in trying to make power and now I am actually considering going back to smaller than 200's to make it more drivable and gain some towing ability back.

Do you even know anything about a Diesel?
