Default Injection pump problems

So my injection pump finally died so gunna replace that and add a air dog system
Just wondering what people have payed for have paid to get it replaced or if it's something with doin myself I usually do all my own maintenance but not hundred percent sure

I won't say it's easy but it isn't too bad to do... I think $1000 is the going price on an s.o vp44. Just make sure you run your new setup with a fuel pressure gauge if you don't have one already, and buy a pump puller off ebay if you do it yourself, they're like $40

my buddy brian replaces a vp for about 200.00 labor and a airdog for about 200.00

Y'all prefer fass over air dog jw what's better bout them and iv been quoted bout 400 for both that's why I'm wondering if it's worth the time and effort Iv never turned down a Challenge but really need it done soon and don't want break anything else

from what I have seen of the fass and airdog systems the fass comes with better hardware and they support our industry a lot. at least out here on the west coast. you can do the pump yourself but if your in a hurry or worried a shop is always a safer bet because it's on them if they mess up
