Default My Dream Truck

so i reciently bought my dream truck. it a 98 24 valve cummins 2500 club cab 4x4 i believe its stock. but ive always stuck with the power strokes.. any pointers on more power on a mild budget? it has 4 inch straight pipe already

Stage II intake or a BHAF. A good transfer pump won't increase power, but it sure will increase the longevity of the fuel system. A $600 FASS or AirDog will save a $1000+ injection pump. At the least a fuel gauge to keep an eye on the pressure. !0 psi at WOT is the minimum

After that, a chip like an Edge Juice with Attitude really helps these trucks. Most of the gauges a guy needs, power, backdown features, and turbo timer all in one.

like he said but then start saving for a transmission. the stock auto is not great. don't do a low fuel pressure light because by the time the light goes off your pump is usually toast.

what about the 5 speeds any clutch suggestions?

5 speed is better with small mods I would get a good south bend clutch once you start adding power. stock will hold a while

I'd recommend a Valair Street Dual Disc Clutch. Smooth shifts and will hold lots of power for future upgrades.

yea i need to do somethin. it has power for a stock truck but it only smokes on the take off but just a puff. then a lil when the turbo spools up
