Mine moves but only from full to to half. At least when it gets to half i know I'm empty.
I use my tripmeter and watch my mileage!

if it is your sending unit, yes that will fix it. From what i have heard/seen on here and my personal experience that is probably the problem. The modified liberty module will get you the draw straw too, all in one deal.

Most likely it is the sender itself, a small possibility that the float is hanging up on something inside the tank. I have suggested that module from Vulcan to many people, as it has the built in draw straw. I would buy one if my sending unit failed.

Not yet, usually they don't get installed until you get a larger transfer pump. Like a FASS or AirDog 150 or larger. Less resistance on the suction side is easier on the lift pump, and could improve the pumps longevity.

I had the same problem with it not going past half a tank, and I ended up just turning my tank assembly so the float was not hanging on the side of the tank. ie 1/4 turn to the left. you might try that first.
