overboost
I realize I got ahead of myself with the 150 HP injectors. Lookin for advice please don't give me Hell for it. Anyways I installed a bd performance boost elbow and got about 10 more psi. Pushing about 28-30 psi. I put the injectors in and I've got a 35 psi gauge. That baby is Maxed out now. I'm scared to stay in the throttle very long(WOT). What would Yall do in my shoes?

i have a hx35 on my HO cummins and i have almost 400,000 miles on her with one head gasket replaced i have my waste gate held shut and i push 40ish thru it on a good stomp and never had much trouble.....buuuuuut that was about 80,000 hard miles ago and now im paying for it thru my turbo shelling so it may work ok for a while but don't run the dog s*** out of her and id say it wouldn't be the end of the world but thats just me hope it helps

If you don't want to increase the size of the hole then go to ebay and buy you an adjustable boost elbow, I believe they run 20 bones or so.
Something of this nature>http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/adjus...item2c5fe10c4e

nothing goes through the wastegate other than exhaust gasses. there is a spring and diapram in there that is boost sensitive so a bigger hole makes the turbo work harder to create the same pressure at the gate if there is a hole in the line.
if you have an air tank with a hole in it just a small one, you can get it to 20psi but never with just 20 psi in the compressor. you would have to throw 25 or 28 or something to push enough air fast enough to overcome the hole in the tank. same idea with the boost elbow, your putting a hole in the line so your compressor (turbo) makes more air to get the psi high enough in the intake to open the wastegate. so a bigger hole would just make your situation worse because your turbo would be working that much harder to over come an even bigger hole in the tank. hope that makes sence.
