Default Hard starting when warm.

Hey guys i got a 2001 dodge cummins and the truck will start great when cold. but if i run it for awhile it has a hard time starting. i had the vp done about 3 months ago as well with a raptor 150 lift pump, no fuel pressure gague but im gonna buy one today. if the truck is warm and u go to start it i can turn the key and let the pumps cycle once and then turn the key back then put the key foward again to start it and it will fire right up. im wondering if anyone else is having this problem?

i have good fuel pressure. i wonder if i have a air in the line somewhere, my vp is only 3 months old. if i hammer on it cold sometimes it stalls and i have to give it a quick shot of ether to start up because if i dont it will just sit there and keep cranking and it wont fire up. im thinking il change my fuel filter and bleed the system. its weird it will do it sometimes, and then other times it wont even hesitate.
