Default Defrost or off

Alright guys weird thing. If I turn the AC or anything on and DONT put it to defrost, the fans blow and everything but it only blows to the ones up on the windshield like its turned to defrost. If I have it in the off position the fans actually stay off. Anything else like max A/C or to the feet or face and feet, etc.. every position I put the switch in will only blow up by the windshield like its in defrost. But like I said off actually means off so its not like its stuck in defrost..........
Any position the **** is in besides off the fans blow and the air blows but only to the vents that are up by my windshield not the ones that point to my face or my feet.
Any idears?

so best way to find it would be to check with the truck off or on and the fan on high turned on something other than defrost? or what would be my best bet of finding it?
