Yes I have a ? I just purchased a resistor to place between my tps and the ecm do I hook this up in the voltage line ? Having problems with tranny upshifting at 80 was told to do this because I installed a after market alternator

That's the first I have heard of putting a resistor in the APPS circuit, it just doesn't make sense. You'll either diminish the 5v signal, change the position sensor voltage, or add resistance to the ground. None of which are a good idea. There is this:
