Also the main goals is 80% more mpg, 15% towing and 5% show boating!

good question, don't have any but I've been looking at smarty....easy to use, i can adjust the speedometer for my 35's, and if i ever want another one half the settings are without timing for stacking.....sounds like the best deal to me but i don't have any experience. Like anything, you get what you pay for and brand new smarty's start around 700. Really, i posted this so it will let me know when someone responds to it.

I love my smarty, you can really fine tune it just the way you want. However even mads admits their fueling technology isn't the best. That's why it is best to stack I guess. But I run mine alone and I love the way the truck runs. I have 355's and the truck used to really work going up hills. Now she walks right up them. and we have really steep hills. I get 16mpg around town. 14mpg towing 10,000 with it.

If you want an "all in one" programmer, I suggest an Edge Juice With Attitude CS, or CTS. Adds up to 120HP, monitors almost every parameter in the truck, has alerts and back downs, and EDGE has excellent customer service.

If you have all the gauges you need, and don't need any of the bells and whistles, I suggest an Edge Comp Box. Not much fuel as hard as it does on VP44 trucks.

You can always wait for one to come up for sale used. My EJWA CTS was $550 shipped, but I had to get a different harness. A slight communication error on the sellers part.

You wont have any issues.. I LOVE my quad

It will fuel harder than the edge even w/ the hot unlock depending on the tunes you are running.. just be careful it requires a good fuel/lift pump system and its hard on drivetrain parts. I toasted my clutch in 2 months but now its got a southbend thats holding like a champ.

Good luck with your purchase
