I had the same problem with my Dodge 3/4 ton. Dealer wanted $375 to trouble shoot. I asked around and was told to replace the rear wheel speed sensor ($32). This sensor sits on top of the differential behind a small rock deflector. When I changed it out, the two lights remained on....I thought I'd messed it up. Then I realized that it is a motion sensor and needed to be in motion to work. Once I began to drive the truck, the lights went out. $32 is a far cry from $375 just to trouble shoot. I hope this helps.

Should look into the ABS sensors on the front one on each wheel and make sure there is a good connection on both, check for the wire being burned to by the dust shield and the rotor if it touches it it will burn throught.

I would start with the rear sensor first. Reason: As per the owner's manual, there is an electronic variable brake proportioning (EVBP) system that regulates rear ABS braking pressure depending on road and speed conditions. When this rear sensor malfunctions, it will prevent the EVBP system from working and will illuminate the BRAKE light continuously. When the EVBP stops working, it will trigger the ABS light. If you only have a front wheel sensor problem, I'd expect that you would only have the ABS light illuminated, and no BRAKE light. This does not mean that you don't have two failures (front and rear sensor failure), but I'd still start at the rear sensor. The rear sensor is also suseptible to rocks kicked up by the front tires. There is a small rock deflector in front of it, but it is fairly thin material....mine failed while driving on a loose gravel road. I hope this helps.

When both wires are welded in a sense to the dust shield it will lite both Brake and ABS lights.I would start with the rear too.
