like when i go for a drive warm it up then i stop put in park let it set for a sec there will be like a pop pop pop kinda like a little back fire coming from my stack and when it pops the rpm drops like just a tad it aint a consten rumble. It did it every once in awhile not often about 4-5 weeks befor my VP went out i replaced it and my lift pump and now it does it more it started off once every couple sec. but now 300 miles later it does it constent almost do you hink it is a bad injector maybe and now that the vp runs good and idels at 900 rpms instead of 800 that its making more preassure how to tell if an injector is bad.

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Also whats surging sound like maybe its that but it only does it at idle and i also have my addr. on to thats new but it did it befor the addr and new vp. but man it screams when moving and in gear

You'll need to take them to a Diesel shop to have them tested. I believe Scheid is not too far from you. They're in Effingham if I'm not mistaken. They could do that type of service. You can always give them a call at any rate.
