Question P pumped 2001 Dodge Ram 2500

Hey everyone, I'm looking to buy my first Cummins and i found one I like but its p pumped and I wanted some input on p pumped 24v's. What would be some questions you would ask about it? Would you rather have p7100 or vp44? What are some pro's and cons of p7100?

P pump will last longer. I am not overly familiar with it but I do know that reliability is better. Now to what I do have some experience with. VP44. They run well as long as you can keep fuel running to them. Most of the people that are putting the p pumps on their 24V's are looking for bigger HP.
