Default Head was machined, do I need a thicker head gasket?

So I blew my head gasket and obviously took the head off and had it machined. It ended up needing new valve giudes and minor welding in spots after it was magnafluxed. The valves were grinded and after all said and done the shop said they took off .015 (fifteen thousandths I believe is what he said) off the surface. Do I need a thicker gasket after that is done?

I just put it back together and I swear I did everything properly and didnt mess up the gasket and about a hour of driving lightly it started eating a ton of coolant into the oil... So any help would be great. thanks
