2001 2500 control arms
I recently did the Kore leveling kit (used but shocks were good) as well as the 09-10 steering upgrade. I had it aligned afterwards as well.
Steering is much better but now I am getting noise in the front end. A slight ticking every time I hit any sort of uneven surface in the road.
Track bar and steering gear have less then 10K on them, sway bar end links I replaced when I did the leveling kit. No steering stabilizer yet, its on order.
I have been told it is most likely the control arms? Apparently due to the rotation after the lift I may have loosened the control arms? It makes sense I suppose just wanted other opinions before I spend anymore money on my front end.
After all of my new parts I still have the death wobble at 65-70mph so I know something still isn't right.
If the Control Arms sound to be the culprit what is suggested? New bushings, poly? New control arms sound good but I don't want to spend big$
Suggestions?
Thanks for the help

I don't see how it could be the control arms unless the mounting holes are wallered out. The bushings could be bad, causing the control arm to tap on the frame or spring perch when you hit a bump, but those things are pretty meaty and I've never seen them wear out. Even if it were control arms, that wouldn't explain the death wobble since it's usually a symptom of a larger steering system slop issue. Your best bet is to jack the truck up, put the frame on jack stands, let the front end hang freely and start wiggling things around until you find your slop/tick. I was in a similar situation (stock suspension, though) and found my ball joints to be completely trashed and a tired stabilizer.
Get the truck up in the air and take your time. Eliminate all play in the steering and suspension components.
