Default Fuel pressure

hello all just installed new gauges & don't like what I found. fuel press @ 10 psi @ idle & 7psi @WOT. how long do think I can go. money is tight. think I could go with Holley blue & push fuel through stock pump or delete stocker. also I plumed into top of fuel canister in 1/8 plug. just changed fuel filter. think that would make a difference????? thanks

holley blue is a waste of money.

it will work but not for long.

the seals inside the blue pumps are not rated for diesel and they will fail very quickly as the fuel will eat through the seals and make the pump start leaking fuel. eventually fuel will leak into the motor of the pump itself and take the pump out all together.

I'd say, If its a stock lift pump, thats probably all you gunna get. Id also say, you can drive the truck just keep an eye on the pressure and don't try hot rodding it. keep it stock. BUT definitely be saving for a good, airdog, fass lift pump. 400-600 range depending on what you get. Or save even more and get a new IP and lift pump combo for what I have seen 1300 1400 range. Thats my .02

almost for got, you can get a ddrp from Fass, that'll boost your pressure just a bit. but won't handle any power adders.

I have a fass drp, 3/4 fuel lines, mild built trans, and pillar gauges.. Would I be okay too run 125 hp Edge injectors and a Edge Comp Box on my truck? Or bad idea? Most people said I would be fine. Whats your opinion?

from what I have seen spend the money on a good lift pump and then worry about injectors and comp. a good lift pump will save you a lot of headaches later

75gph pump will not keep up with mods...even FASS will tell you this.

95GPH or better if you want to start adding performance mods.

my truck has a 150GPH lift pump on it with a 1/2" draw straw, and 1/2" fuel lines from the tank all the way to the vp44.

ha ha I bought an 02 cummins last summer... less then a month and I put a fass titanium lift sump. heard many a horror stories of vp44 failure due to lift sumps, don't let any dodge dealers try to get you to do the mopar update... its garbage go fass or airdog.

I didn't listen and I ended up replacing my vp and lift pump a month after I bought the truck with 148k miles on it. I thought money was tight too. It was tighter at the tune of $1500 for new stuff. Now I pay attention when someone gives a warning, I also keep money saved up for repairs. You would be wiser and richer to do the same.
