Default coolant leaking threw headstud after retorque

I wanted to retorque my head back down after 1000 miles on the new head gasket. Once I got done torqueing down I let the truck warm up to operating temp and once thermostat opened up coolant started leaking out stud nut on the stud right next to the thermostat housing. why could this be? I did 2 hot retorques and this one was a cold torque

One you do need some type of Sealent on the stud when its put it, Ive never heard of retorqueing a head once its set.

you sure it's not your tstat leaking around the stud?

shouldn't have coolant coming from the stud.

Maybe your temp sensor is leaking and running by the stud?
