Fuel pressure gauge install?????
Hey guys I have spent i ton of time trying to find the best way to hook up my fp gauge. I think I am going to go the route of hooking it straight into my vp. Have seen a hose set on genos garage that hooks straight into the vp test port. I don't know if someone has done this. Does it work good? Also what is better a snubber or needle valve. I am at a loss here guys. Anything help would be nice. Pics of an install would be amazing. Thanks in advance.

get a tapped banjo bolt and hook it to the bottom of your fuel filter canister on the line that goes from the fuel filter to the vp44.
use a needle valve. it seconds as a shutoff valve, and can be set to be more restrictive than a snubber which is a good thing.
you want to just barely crack open the needle valve. if the gauge takes several seconds to sweep to full pressure reading, then it is set perfectly.

Thanks for the info. Another question? I see that your guage is a mechanical one. I have a electrical one. Will this work for the electrical guage also? Some people put a hose inbetween the Sensor and neddle valve. Is this important or can I just hook the sensors into the neddle valve without the hose?
