Default What front suspension to get?

Ok guys just bought a 300 to 400 pound front bumper replacement for my 99 2500 cummins. Definately believe I need a new front suspension just trying to figure out which one. I don't believe there is a lift on the front but do have some 2-3 inch leveling blocks in back, not sure if that makes a difference. Thanks

Carli is good stuff, but you pay for it. A progressive, leveling spring would work nice. In theory, it gives a smoother ride, retains load capacity, and adds a 2" to 3" lift.

I was considering just getting some $70-$90 heavy duty shocks on the front but wasn't sure how it would ride on the highway? Is that worth considering? thanks

Shock absorbers are exactly that. If you want load and height control you need to look at your springs. If you just wanna raise it back up on the cheap. Get a set of levelers for the front.
I have stock springs on mine, with 2.5" levelers. I have a factory bumper, with a westin brush guard and a ramsey 8000lbs winch on the nose of my truck. with all that its probably 300Lbs. It sets good, and rides decent. I mean if you want it to ride like a car, go buy a car. Mine rides good for a 4wd straight axle truck.

Rock auto had some front coil springs that had a heavier weight rating for people that plow snow and such.
