vaccum pump

I just did this about 6 months ago. I pulled the PS pump along with it. Seemed easier but the PS lines did not come off very easily. I went ahead and cut them and there is enough to do that and get them back on OK. But they are very tough stiff lines and if I were to do another one I would go upstream and break a connection instead of doing the cut business. There is a support bracket on the back of one of them and there is the vacuum pump oil line that also needs to be removed. It is tight but very doable. If you pull both it is easier to get to the steering box to check the adjustment per the FSM. Mine was way out of whack and that adjustment, a new poly track bar bushing on the axle end and a set of very stiff side wall E rated tires made it drive like new again. Now would also be a very good time to pull the radiator and make sure the fins are all nice and clean.
