Thing about it... The input shaft rides in the pilot bearing and on the input shaft bearing. Then its got a sliding clutch plate on the splines. Now assume the clutch material is not exactly perfect in balance. So what do you thing will happen when you rev that engine up press the clutch pedal on have the free spinning mass? It going to jump all around on that input bearing as well as trying to tweak the pilot bearing. I would suggest in replacement.

It's doesn't have any shaft play like a turbo would have. I'm talking about the rotational movement/play it has meeting up with the trail shaft and other gears inside. There's no more then a 1/4" of it back and forth. If I hold the tail shaft and rotate the input back and forth.
