Default Time For Turbo

My hx35/40 cannot support my truck anymore as that it is now at its limits already. Going to be getting a set off 175's-200 horse sticks and need some more turbo I have a few ideas but would like to hear more opinions. Just trying to find a turbo thats not going to be to big or to small. Truck is a DD. Thanks for any input

I would suggest a Garret PowerMax GT37R dual ball bearing -water cooled turbo! The ball bearings last alot longer than regular thrust bearings found in stock turbos and they are more durable under high psi. My buddy has had one for three years in a powerstroke and there is absolutely no slop! It comes in three stages that can be bought with a kit or without a kit. remember that these need water lines! You can look on thoroughbred diesel for more info! One of the other members also recommended this turbo on my tread.

BB turbos are usually not available to get rebuilt.

If you have not re-geared you will want to be very careful about what turbo you use.
I would do 63/65/14 turbo and 175HP or even better twins so you can keep quick spool up to get those tires turning.

How would I be able to make my hx35/40 usable as a top turbo, as of now I cant do much more fueling without it over spooling.
