Might check it with the truck running. When the water pump is going out it will dump a puddle of antifreeze.

yeah it could be your water pump. i would do the head studs anyhow. are you boosting above with the 150hp injectors?

it happens but pretty rare , i would clean it up and put some pressure test the system and verify exactly where the leak is spawning from
doing the head on a cummins is crazy easy although i would get help cause its pretty heavy and service information actually tells you to use a hoist to lift it good luck scott

oh and i noticed it may look like coming out of that little 3/8s plug and fan blowing it over on the side |

Has the head ever been off and the fire ring get machined to the head
---AutoMerged DoublePost--- If the heads never been off I would just use a stock gasket Last edited by Rainman44; 02-10-2013 at 09:24 AM.. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

I wouldn't fire ring just do a new gasket and at least the mid strength arp head studs I know guys running a 120psi of boost on the stock gasket with the high strength stud I've pushed 70 on my 06 and I just have a stock gasket and the mid strength stud
---AutoMerged DoublePost--- Filtering is a lot more common on 2nd gens tho they arent as strong as the 3rd or 4th gens my 02 is fire ringed got about 4000 miles on it all drag racing haven't had a prob yet Last edited by Rainman44; 02-10-2013 at 06:40 PM.. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

Valve cover seal isn't needed just don't mess it up when you take it off and all you'll need is the gasket between turbo and manifold also your heater grid gaskets I'd leave the manifold on the head you can use it as a handle
