truck just died?

Default truck just died?

driving down the road at about 50. no problems and then all of a suddon truck like bogged down! and then back to fine again then a few seconds later truck bogged down and then shut off! wouldnt restart. so i was stranded and had to have it towed? what could it be?

The fuel gauge is known to quite reading correctly so the first thing to do is add 5 gal of fuel to the tank. Then check your filter and bleed the injectors.

so lets say i ran out of fuel! how do i get it running again?

Loosen injector lines 1, 3, &4. Bump the starter and the lift pump will run for 25 seconds. Continue to bump starter untill you get fuel dripping from injector lines. Tighten lines while Lp is running and fuel in dripping so air doesn't get back in. Then start engine. It might run rough for a little bit but thats normal.

allright so i dont think i ran out of fuel i think it may be bad fuel? or frozen fuel i live in michigan and it was below zero today! i put some stuff in the filter thats supposed to unthough the fuel. i havent got it running yet? it just cranks and cranks but no fire?
