Ya may have to loosen a couple of joints to provide additional "play", adjust the DP, then tighten the DP first, then re-tighten the joints previously loosened. You also may want to try a new clamp, as the old one might be "stressed" or "stretched" not having enough clamping pressure. As a long shot, check your motor mounts as well. Maybe there is too much movement in the engine causing the exhaust pipe to bind against the body or frame and stress the DP connection. Hope this helps.
