So I didnt want to steal the other fellas thread but I have some oil issues on my 99 dodge as well, I know the vaccum pump oil line is leaking pretty bad and am not sure how to fix that. The guy who did the tranny in it said there was a gasket on the block leaking that was a 6 hour repair which I am not seeing it. It is all on the front driverside and back soaked. Way more than the just normal cummins leak. Any suggestions??
If you have a local car wash with a engine wash or low pressure wash, you can clean off the engine. If it is leaking as bad as you say, the leak will show itself by the time you drive out of the wash bay and get parked out side.
I also had a shaft seal leak between the vac pump and power steering pump.
I just orderedthe seal kit from gould and what an awesome guy on the other end of the phone!! So far service sell with him!! Thanks for the suggestion and my part should be here tues!! Tiremann where did you get the avitar i love it!!!
