Default winter oil

Does anyone use thinner oil when winter time comes around if so what kind? Starting to get pretty cold here and I'm bout due for an oil change. Any help is great thanks

10w30 will work just fine. I used to run 0w40 all year before switching to AmsOil

i run the heavy duty 10W30 diesel oil that my work puts in the diesels in the winter so i use it

Assuming you are running a 15/40 now?..and conventional? If it's synthetic, you're fine unless you are at -10 or more for extended periods. Mine works fine til it gets that cold, then it probably like a 5/40 or a 5/30 better
If conventional, I'd look at a 5/30 or 10/30 to improve it some.
