air dog fuel issues
Hey guys,
so bought a used Juice w/ Attitude and Installed it today. Immediately said I had 7 psi at idle so I turned the screw on my Airdog and got it to 15 psi idle. at wot it dropped to 0 quickly so I turned it more now it sets at 20 idle and drops to 1-2psi at wot at level 3. level 4 is 0psi quickly and at level 1 i stay around 4 psi.
I have a few questions.
1. I installed the sensor on the intake banjo at the VP. is that correct?
2. should there be this big of a difference in fuel? seems like the airdog was supposed to supply plenty of fuel to keep those numbers close. ( I don't have any other mods)
3. Will it hurt to have the pump running 25 psi @ idle to keep wot pressure above 7?
thanks
Nick

That is a good place for the sender. There shouldn't be that big of difference in fuel pressure. 25psi is a little high, I don't like to see over 21-22 at idle.
It may be your pressure regulating valve in the VP44.

when we installed my airdog we had questioned where to put the sensor for the fuel pressure guage on my juice w/attitude so we called airdog and they told us that it is supposed to hook to the airdog pump. i run mine hooked into int and at idle im at 15psi and at wot it has never dropped below 10 psi.. just my 2 cents.... i believe i have the pictures on my phone if you would like to see them... all we did was lenghten the wires on the fuel guage to reach to the airdog
