Default exhaust

Alright, so I was stopped for exhaust this morning for the first time and I've had it for a year and a half. Anybody else have a problem getting picked on for exhaust?

exactly what I said, and as I'm sitting there two harleys go past and about 4 trucks that were louder than me. I was like you have got to be kidding me
As much as I hate to say it. If I get stopped again I'll have to put a muffler on....

Are ya stacked or just straight piped? Either way it SUCKS to be picked on, when harleys can go by and rattle your fillings loose.

Heres a thought, find an old straight through muffler at a Muffler shop, gut it and run a straight pipe through it. Lightening the load on the go pedal might also help.

yeah I knew she was there and was veryyyyyyyyyyyy easy on it. I was kind of on the border of the city limits. It was a county officer. Its a straight pipe, not stacked.

Im assuming she didnt ticket you, right? Well Afe has a hollow louvered muffler that will quiet it down a bit, but will bark when you get on it. MBRP is a packed louvered Muffler that is quite mellow, but does have a throaty growl when you get on it. Then theres Magnaflow that is perforated and is really mellow, but straight through, no louvers. Then theres the gutted muffler with a straightpipe throught it and a lighter foot.
