Default Help! fass 150 leaking

I have let my truck set a few days waiting to have the time to fix a brake lines and went out started the truck and the water in fuel light came on, so I went to drain the water seporater and nothing came out of it. Come to find out it was coming from the top of my tank I could only feel around because of the drive shaft. Is this a common problem or just a small hose come loose any advice will help before I have to drop the tank thanks

I wouldn't say its a common problem. If you bump the starter, does the leak get worse? Before getting to excited about dropping the tank, or pulling the box, I'd try and get a better look up there. Most parts stores sell telescopic mirrors to get a better look at places like that. Identify the leak, order the parts if necessary, then drop the tank or pull the box. It will save down time.
