Cummins Swap

Cummins Swap
Well, I'm doing a cummins swap. My 6.9 IDIT (ATS wastegated turbo) is reaching its potential. Now I love my IDI, but a cummins landed into my hands cheap. A buddy and I were prowling the pick and pull, and found a 91 VE pumped Cummins. I left for work, my buddy pulled the engine, complete, for $450
Now some @#$#%@ decided to take the intake off to expose the head to water. Got the engine home, discovered water on the intake valves. Head is now at the machine shop for a complete head job. Two cylinders have a little rust, but nothing a hone cant take off.
Right now it will get a complete gasket kit, piston rings, perhaps bottom end bearings, KDP (I hear all 12 valves, even 89-93 VE pumped cummins apply). Then mess with the pump for a little bit (Not for long ).
Its going into my Ford to make a Fummins. Going to trade my turbo kit for a complete ZF5 speed swap.
Looking forward to many mods to come!
So, here are some pics!

i'm bringing my truck back to lookin good but not that good. after mine's done it will still go through the woods but probably not fields anymore (too bumpy in a 350) but i dont wanna scratch the **** outta a nice paint job. mine'll probably get a flat bed for now. gettin a dually rear axle. under bed tool boxes, water injection, air dog, stage 1 injectors, not sure on turbo housing yet, electric fan, and probably air bags. then when i can afford it a new dually bed. by that time it'll be an antique though and i hope to have a 6.4 but no truck built today is built like the 85's were well at least mine. Mine is built HEAVY there's not one light thing on it. on the scales unloaded it weighed every bit of 8000 pounds
