1st Generation Dodge Cummins 89-93 Discussion of 12 Valve 5.9 Liter Dodge Cummins Diesels with Rotary Injection Pumps

hey all, i have an asa modifieds with an afe filter, can i put the filter directly on the turbo, is this a bad idea, and is there a pros and cons on putting it their. thanks for the help.... JOIN NOW TO REMOVE TRACER

hey all,

i have an asa modifieds with an afe filter, can i put the filter directly on the turbo, is this a bad idea, and is there a pros and cons on putting it their.

DieselPerformanceGuy's Sig:1992 dodge CTD,auto,RCLB, w250, 170,500 on the odometer,5x.014's , 366 spring, pump maxed,starwheel bottomed , bully dog fuel pin, bully dog 4 inch exhaust, asa modifieds intake,auto meter boost and pyro gauges,isspro 4k tach,ATS 3 peice manifold,3'' homemade coolertubz,and a new 62/65/12 s300 turbo,: next to have,AirDog II 165 fuel pump.

umm, when i did my 60mm upgrade i was forced to jam a filter on the end of my turbo for a wile.didn't like it at all,i didn't loose too much on the egt's, till i put my normal intake back on.....just assumed that it was because the turbo was sucking hot air from around the engine. so i wouldn't reccomend it.

seandonato73's Sig:1990 Dodge W250, custom intercooler, 4" turbo back exhaust,air dogII 165, 3200rpm gov spring, injection pump maxed out, 80hp DDP injectors, upgraded intake housing and compressor wheel,auto meter pyro,boost, fuel pres,and oilpres gauges M&H fuel pin set M4 installed, advanced pump 3/16", ARP head studs, O-ringed, and ported 7mm head
new Purchase 94 12v engine for my 79 super cab project

I ran mine directly on the turbo for a couple days, it seemed like it ran worse without an intake.

chico_mustangs's Sig:1993 Dodge 4wd Dually Cummins 12v
2nd Gen intercooler with 3in piping, Bully Dog Fuel Pin, turned up wheel, Pacbrake w/3in downpipe and complete 3.5in exhaust, Custom made intake with AFE filter, and some Alcoa's.
