cool thats what i need to know. also is an hx40 turbo an hx40? like will one of a car be the same as the one of a truck? i found one locally for 200 bucks in good shape thats a t3 flange and a 16cm housing. will it work or do i need to make sure its from a truck?

i think it'll work. T3 flange is a T3 flange to my knowledge. exhaust housing size sounds ok; but compressor side is where you have to keep an eye out. stockish gas jobs dont like much more than like 10-12 psi

thats exactly what it came out of. does anyone by chance know what flange they use don the 87 ford ford 6.7 diesel? i just got a free ford with an ats turbo on it so if its the same flange and is a nicer turbo i might snag it. my biggest problem with any turbo now though is my downpipe space
