In 1994 the emission requirements became so strict that a fuel system's injection lag evolved into a major issue. Dodge continued to use the Cummins engine which utilized a Bosch mechanical injection pump, fuel lines, and NHAs. Bosch increased injection pressure and raised the opening pressure of the NHA so that the fuel was broken down, or atomized, into smaller droplets, thus insuring a cleaner and more complete burn. That pump was the P7100, which went into the second gen dodges. It runs on much higher preassure and therefor will deliver more fuel ---more fuel- more power. But if you get one, I will dub thee 2nd genny nut

Just wait till you do the gov spring. All the things youve done so far are mostly "tuning tweaks", not really any big increasers of hp. Maybe ask for a fuel pin for your stocking. It's awesome that you're as pumped as you are about your truck because you haven't hardly done a dang thing to it yet. All the little things to come will really increase hp. Just wait.

Not much more than stock unless you have some fueling upgrades done.

The_Head's Sig:1992 Dodge Power Ram 250, PATC 46RH with Suncoast FP, TC and VB, ASA modifieds intake with a BHAF, Boost, EGT, Trans temp gauges, 366 spring, Denny T fuel pin, New Era 6 x 14's, Low Pressure Piston LP, S362 Turbo on a PDI manifold, custom 4" DP & Exhaust, 7.3 PS I/C, and Cooler Tubez... It does ok.

ok it this easy.More fuel = more power.bigger fuel lines running to lift pump.Piston lift pump conversion(low pressure)dont feed the ve more then 15psi.Or in your case maybe an airdog for christmas.Max you fuel screw AFTER youve done these things.Do a leak down test on the intake/piping.dont want to lose boost.close up your wastegate if you have one.Forget about the p pump its too expensive.you might as well buy awhole truck then youd be "one of them"and not a 1st gen.

Since you're 16 and didn't make any statements on what you're truck is going to be used for, I will assume it's just for play and not for any serious work or hauling. You will like POD's then (Lucas Prince of darkness Injectors).

Get some gauges though, at least an EGT gauge, so you don't melt any pistons fooling around.

What? POD's are a cheap injector for 1st gens. Look around for some used ones.

Wanna buy my DDP4's?

I might want to upgrade to 6 x 16's
