I've done it without a welder. Use two nuts, one as a jam nut on the other.

take the hold down nut loose on the injector; put somethin heavy over the injector you're planning to pop loose; cut the fuel off and crank the engine... the compression will most deffinately blow it loose. gotta love this site; always read some interesting solutions from some of the best

tower_ofpower's Sig:One thing i learned in college: DON'T!!! stick your fingers where you wouldn't stick Mr. Happy 89' W250, full fuel 1 1/2 turns, smoke screw needs adjustment, M&H M3 fuel pin and timing spacer, 366 spring, air dog 150,3" DP to 4" DP back bully dog exhaust with the front baffle cut out. Soon to be:transmission upgade, turbo and manifold swap, and injectors.

You MUST close the manual fuel cut off to do this, Or you will pump ALOT of fuel all over the place!

Tip may be coated in enough carbon to hang it up.

good point; do you have all the hold down nuts loose and the injectors bathing in a good penetrating oil? WD-40 or PB blaster?

i've helped a friend make a puller with a slide hammer b4... a pipe coupler is supringly close and grabs the injector w/o damamging the threads. as for the slide hammer the threads deffinately dont match... we went a little hill billy with this and wrapped abunch of black tape around it then threaded the pipe coupler over it after all it did the trick
