Default Fuel guage / speedo

ok i bought this 91 about a year ago and weve just bout tried everything on the speedo new vss the wire hot and the fuel guage ive tried new guage cluster and the same so i could use a little help its just them to not workin

does anyone know bout either bc i bought a gps foe the speedo now i just need the fuel

whats it doing? Not working? Start checking grounds. The ground wire from the battery negative to the radiator core support is under sized from the factory and gets eaten up over time. It plays all sorts of havoc with the gauge cluster. other then that check the sending unit in the tank and start following wires from there.

ok check the ground wire and it seems fine so goin check the sending unit sometime this week

dont just check it, they are undersized I would remlace it with a larger wire anyway. Mine looked fine put with all the other stuff on the elec system (like gauges) it was hurting it.

Its probably time for a new sending unit in the tank.

yeah it was the sending unit float was cracked thanks alot
