Default D250 4x4 conversion?

Been looking at a 92 d250 for past month and the owner has it sitting and is hopefully going to pass it on to me within the month it's a club cab with 152xxx auto tranny with original dog bowls on the rims he told me the truck was running good after his grandpa passed and he's just had it sitting. I'd really like to have a 4x4 what all parts would i need and how would it be done to make it 4x4 I'd really like to restore the truck!!

Parts are readily available, but it will be costly and a ton of work. Why not just get it on the road and drive it for while to get it all sorted before jumping into a major conversion project?
