i plan on using a 4l80e for my cummins 4x4 crew cab. but just running ht eideal though my head, found a gm nv4500 for 800 and i have the chevy adapter plate for my cummins. so what flywheel would i need? i know you can buy the whole kit for 1200 but since i have the adapter im trying to do this on the cheap side since i have some stuff already

If its the factory cummins to chevy that they used in the bread trucks they use there own flywheel ,bolts ,hub, and waffle plate for that set up.. The bad part about them is the starter is on the pass side of the vehicle by the turbo and if you run ac its a pain but can be done.. I did it on mine.. you can pick up the factory ones for like 700/800 bucks..i run the th400 trans with a gear vendor.
