Default Race truck

I'm new to this forum. I am also on the cummins forum. They don't help me very much so I thought if try here. What are some good parts to make a race truck? Injectors, turbo, etc

depends on what your end goal is with the truck? are you racing honda's leaving the parking lot at school or funny cars going town the strip?

The reason we don't help on cumminsforum is because your posts are very vague and don't give us anything to really go off of. You say race truck, what kind of racing? What are your horsepower goals? What is your budget? What is your mechanical skill level? There are so many variables, narrow it down some and you'll get more help.

I have 32 in tires on right now. Should I go smaller or what size would be good?

if money isnt a problem. aluminum block. some aftermarket rediculous head, roller rockers custom intake. lower the compression, fly cut forged pistons, pushrods, some 5x20+ injectors, what kind of spark plugs are you going to run? 14mm p7100, turbos 1 2 or 3 of them. s3's 4's holsets, garret??? your choice, couple hundred shot of giggle gas, completley worked over suspension. completely revamped transmission, front and real air lockers, aluminum driveshafts and some 33/18.5 stickys should do. maybe be in the 1500hp range.

im gonna go out on a limb and say kid... come on... the above listed is a short list of a big hp truck and parts listed are prolly close to 60-80k do you want to run 6 second 1/4's or 14 second 1/4's. who gives a crap about hte size tire you run at this point. i know guys on 40's that can burn them off and guys with stock looking trucks that run 10's what do you want how do you want to get there and how much can you spend?
