Default 5 volt sensor supply?

Does anyone know for sure if the transmission (auto) temp sensor supply voltage is 5 volts? The PCM is putting out 11.16 volts to the Trans temp sensor and it is not a short. PCM failure to transform battery voltage to 5 volt sensor supply?

To anyone wondering, with no current flow I was getting 11.16v. When a factory sensor was installed it would drop to 8.06v. With a 1000 ohm resistor it was in in the 6 volt range. Now any mechanic in a shop would have replaced the PCM. The controller wants to see 1-5v. So with a 100 ohm resistor my voltage was now 2.1v, which gave the PCM all the correct parameters it wanted to see to allow OD. Now I'm not sure what caused this to happen during all the work but I don't need a PCM and maybe this will help someone else!
