Thats the best part, the smoke! Is grinding the afc lever worth while, and how much to grind? Im picking up my 3200 governor spring tommorow at a local supplier.

What is a HX35/HX40 Hybrid and how is it done, and what does it do for you?

the hybrid is made using a 35 exhaust wheel and 40 compressor and of course the housings that go with them. if u got a 35 u just need the compressor wheel and compressor housing. it pushes a lot more air than the 35 and it bolts right on so its awesome

So once more, what is the recommended mod/fuel level of an engine to be able to take advantage of a 35/40 hybrid?

Anything over stock.

digging up an old thread but i can get a complete hx35 with a 60mm housing and a 8 blade wheel for less than what it cost to buy a 60mm upgrade for my H1C. the turbo is off of a 1999 24valve and has a 60mm wheel from gillett diesel??
