Default A little bit of everything for the First gens

So im new to diesel bombers as a member but ive read alot on here over the past year. Im 17 and i have a 93 Dodge w250, 5 speed with 96000 original miles. Everytime I think I have made a performance decision, I read something that changes my mind. I am interested in a set of mild injectors (BD 60hp) and a slightly bigger turbo. I want a reliable daily driver and not sure what reliability mods I need for the injectors and the turbo. Current mods to my truck are a Denny T stage one pin, BHAF, Autometer Pyro, Aero muffler and star wheel turned two rotations. I want any opinion, clutch, head studs, etc. Are PODs a good injector? Is an HX35 a improvement? Thanks

Max out the fuel screw, change the throttle and return springs (more travel = more rpm) and get some injectors. And bump the timing. That should be good. Also, make sure your head bolts are tight (at least 125 lb-ft).

I made 301rwhp on my 89 with intake, exhaust, a converter, and DDP 5x14's.
POD's suck on mileage (2-3mpg drop) but make good power.

Will the fuel screw turned up decrease pump life? Are ddp injectors good quality?

I'd look into an HE351CW. They are pretty cheap and spool super fast.

Are you going to get a bigger turbo?

5x.012 will be a big bump in power... up to 50-60HP. we have lots of options in both VCO and SAC, 5hole and 7 hole configurations.

5x.012 and he351 is a great set up.

Yes I did. It was much better than just advancing the timing.

Default 92 cummins 12 valve

It is leaking fuel what seems to be out the bottom of the injector pump when it is turned off but quits when it is started and have to bleed injectors for it to start back up
