Hey guys I know it's been a while so have posted, but hear is what I have been up to. Since my last truck got hit I fold it for parts and bought a 2wd first gen cummins with low miles for cheap. I saved the 5 speed and np205 out of my parted truck and had them rebuilt. I also saved the clutch, master and slave, front driveline, Dana 60 and a few other important things. I cleaned the 2wd up and threw some flat black primer on her and then I custom installed the 6 inch lift and Dana 60 front end. It still has the 2wd auto trans in it and it slips like a mother, I have never done a 5spd 4x4 conversion before and before I start I want to know if there is anything I must know or if anybody has some tips and pointers that could help. Also pics of the bottom of a 5spd 4x4 first gen would help.
