Governer arm shaft help needed-Bosch VE Pump
I am taking my VE pump apart due to leaking and suddenly the truck not starting on me one day. I'm following a video of a teardown of a VE pump but it's for a VW Diesel so some things are different. I ended up not marking the position of the governor shaft. I marked down something irrelevant instead because I didn't know what I was doing and there are some differences between a Dodge and VW pump.
So what do I do:
I later noticed that the governor arm shaft has a slot on top of it, and the bracket it goes on has several keyways wiith notches on them to choose from. The it has another

It's actually the throttle shaft. I found one site that showed the position for a 1991.5 (mine is a 1990 though).

just seen you other post.. that video is worthless.. it does not give you timing specs and is for the Volvo pump.. I still have pics of the throttle shaft marks in my phone if that will help you..i can text them to you.. take you time keep everything clean and it will turn out okay.theres some good pics on this site...sticky.. I also have a pump at my shop im doing if you need any pics the way things go I can take pics and send them to you...
