Default how freely should the turbo spin

I was looking at my turbo today (hx35) and I was spinning the wheel and it seems like it has too much resistance. I can spin it by hand but I thought I remember it being easier.

And the resistance changes, when I spin it a few times itll start getting harder to spin and then itll start easing up a little for a few turns.

It doesn't have much shaft play just the little side to side and it doesn't look like its been hitting the compressor housing.

I just rebuilt it like 4 months ago and it worked fine then and still works good just was wondering if something was going bad already.

Thanks

Sometimes sludge will break loose from inside the oil supply hose when it gets disturbed and gets into the bearing housing blocking or restricting oil flow. Best thing to do is take it apart and inspect the bearings and shaft. It should have a consistent very light drag on it. Grab the nut and snap your fingers. It should spin for at least a second or 2.
