Default 6.7L harmonic balancer on a 5.9L

Has anyone used a 6.7L harmonic balancer on a 5.9L? I spoke with Fluidampr about tone ring options for making my Ford tach read, and they suggested possibly using their 6.7L Cummins balancer on my 5.9L 12 valve because the 6.7L version has a built in 58 tooth tone ring that might work with my Ford tach pickup. Does anyone have any experience with whether it will fit or not? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

FYI - I have a FordCummins tach ring on my truck right now with the stock balancer, but I don't like the extra bulky weight of it and the fact that the tone ring is bent (suggestion out of balance). Therefore, I was looking for an integrated solution...

Anyone?

According to an archived thread on CompD, the 6.7L balancer will fit the 5.9L, but requires either offsetting the fan pulley, or using a 6.7L fan pulley...

The investigating continues...
